First woman across Indian Himalaya (Ladakh), Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet to join the ancient Yartung, a competitive traditional horse race.
I'd really like to thank my teachers, the horsemen of the Himalaya, for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, especially as a woman to join Yartung. 
The men you see alongside are some of the most skilled and legendary horsemen from the highest passes on earth. 

Yartung remains a thousand-year-old horse festival showcasing the extraordinary skills of the local men across the Himalaya. Women do not participate, until now.
